like candidates checklist, responsibilities, qualifications etc. This guide was prepared to assist anyone interested in seeking election or re-election and provides an overview of the election process, the steps to run for municipal office, and a summary of new campaign finance rules.
If you are interested in registering for becoming a Member of Council, Candidate Registration dates are as follows:
Reeve—May 1st to September 20th; and
Councillor—June 30th to September 20th.
Nominations will be accepted September 14 – 20, 2022.
Ward One will elect 4 Councillors and Ward Two will elect 2 Councillors.
