To all Massey System Water Customers,
There has been a substantial spike in water usage lately. The usage is out pacing the ability to treat water at times. We are asking users to be on the look out for potential line breaks both on your property and in ditches. These breaks present themselves as areas where the snow melts and the ground is not frozen or even excessive sump pump activity. Water is not always visible on the surface as it may be draining into a gravel seam.
Have a look at your water meter when you know you are not using water. If it is still turning you may have a problem in your house.
Outdoor livestock fountains can also be prone to freezing and leakage.
If you are using significantly more water than normal for whatever reason, please let us know.
